The Disposal Map application and website are published by Disposal Map.
The website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA.
Article 2: Access to the Platform
Disposal Map allows users to:
- Search and locate waste disposal facilities nationwide
- View facility information including location, type, and operational status
- Filter facilities by type (Municipal Solid Waste landfills, recycling centers, etc.)
- Access EPA facility registration data and environmental compliance information
- Use location services to find nearby disposal facilities
Access to the platform is provided "as is" and does not constitute any obligation of result.
Article 3: Data Collection
Disposal Map collects and stores minimal data to provide location-based services. This includes location data (with permission), search queries, and usage statistics.
Users may request access, correction, or deletion of their personal data, subject to legal obligations.
Article 4: Intellectual Property
All proprietary elements of the Disposal Map platform (text, images, logo, interface design, and commercial aspects) are protected by intellectual property law and remain the exclusive property of Disposal Map or its partners.
Any reproduction, distribution, or commercial use of these proprietary elements without prior written consent is strictly prohibited.

Map data is provided "as is" by their respective providers and subject to their terms. We do not modify, cache, or redistribute the tiles beyond normal app operation.
Article 5: User Responsibilities
Users agree to:
- Use the service for lawful purposes only
- Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code
- Not use automated tools to scrape or harvest facility data
- Comply with applicable laws and community standards
- Verify facility information directly with facilities before making disposal decisions
Article 6: Availability and Disclaimer of Warranty
Disposal Map makes every effort to provide accurate and up-to-date facility information. However, the platform is provided without any express or implied warranty, including but not limited to availability, performance, data accuracy, or error-free operation.
Important: Facility information is provided for informational purposes only. Users should always contact facilities directly to verify hours, accepted materials, fees, and other details before visiting.
Article 7: Limitation of Liability
Disposal Map shall not be held liable for any direct or indirect damages, including material or immaterial losses, arising from:
- Service interruption or unavailability
- Inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated facility information
- Errors, delays, or technical failures
- Improper or illegal use of the platform
- Decisions made based on information provided by the app
Article 8: Service Modifications
Disposal Map may modify its services, features, data sources, or access conditions at any time. Users will be informed of major changes within a reasonable timeframe.
Continued use of the platform implies acceptance of such changes.
Article 9: External Links
The app may contain links to third-party websites (such as EPA facility pages). Disposal Map is not responsible for the content, security, or performance of external websites.
Article 10: Indemnification
Users agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Disposal Map from any claims, liabilities, losses, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Violation of these Terms
- Activities carried out through use of the app
- Misuse of facility information or services

Article 12: Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by applicable law. In the event of a dispute, the appropriate courts shall have jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by consumer protection regulations.
Article 13: Force Majeure
Disposal Map shall not be held liable for failure to fulfill its obligations in the event of force majeure, including but not limited to: natural disaster, fire, flood, riot, war, pandemic, strike, cyberattack, infrastructure failure, or any other unforeseeable event beyond its control.
